Founded in 1998 in Ningbo, China, the company has developed into a large-scale and vertically integrated manufacturer with three production bases and an annual capacity exceeding 11,000 metric tons. Supported by a complete production chain and robust quality management systems, ZHAOBAO MAGNET is certified to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13485 and SA8000, ensuring consistent product quality and reliability.

With an engineering team of over 800 professionals, ZHAOBAO MAGNET maintains strong R&D capabilities and holds 165 patents (as of 2026). In collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the company has established a Permanent Magnet Engineering & Technology Center, driving continuous innovation in high-performance magnet materials. Advanced grades such as N56SH, N54UH, N50EH and N45AH have been successfully developed and mass-produced to meet demanding application requirements.

Through its pioneering Grain Boundary Diffusion (GBD) technology, ZHAOBAO MAGNET significantly reduces the use of heavy rare earth elements (HRE) such as Dy and Tb, enabling the development of high-performance, HRE-reduced and HRE-free magnet solutions. This innovation supports both cost optimization and sustainable resource utilization.

Recognized as a National Manufacturing Champion Enterprise by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), ZHAOBAO MAGNET continues to expand its global presence, serving customers in more than 60 countries. Its products are widely used in electric drive systems, industrial automation and clean energy applications.

In 2025, the company launched a new smart manufacturing base in collaboration with China Northern Rare Earth, further enhancing its production capacity and technological capabilities.
